With support from ScreeninC, Matheus Dias and colleagues concluded a whole-genome CRISPR knockout and a whole-genome CRISPR activation screen to identify genes that modulate the effect of LB-100, an inhibitor of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). These, in addition to a small molecule compound screen that was supported by the NKI Robotics and Screening Center, identified a synergistic relationship between LB-100 and inhibition or knockout WEE1.
